Determining Which Generac Generator is Right for You

There are several factors that go into deciding which Generac Automatic Standby Generator is right for you, your home, and your needs:

  1. Load calculation – takes into consideration all of the appliances and electricity requirements of your home
  2. Budget/financing – we work with you and within your budget, whether you plan on purchasing in full, financing through us, or leasing.
  3. Whole home or partial power

Our skilled sales representatives will provide a complimentary in-home consultation and work with you to put together the best package that suits your needs.

What to Expect During the In-Home Consultation

Our skilled sales representatives will locate both the electrical and gas meters and will recommend the best possible location for the generator to be installed. Typically it will be closer to the gas than electric.

Finding the right location is the most important aspect of installation, both economically and for safety purposes (ie must be 5 ft from windows, doors, and vents due to carbon monoxide, and must be in accordance with local codes).

We will discuss all available options for financing, as well as a general timeline. Upon approval of the proposal, a copy of your property survey will be needed to move forward. Once we have all permits, we can proceed with scheduling installation.

Full Power.
No Matter What.

Lights, on. Electronics, on. Appliances, on. HVAC, on.
Weather is unpredictable. With Generac Automatic Standby Generators, power in your home is not. Giving you peace of mind, no matter what.

How a Generac Home Standby Generator Works:

INSTALLATION

TRANSFER

DETECTION

RESTORATION

  • The Generac Automatic Standby Generator is installed outside your home and is connected to your existing natural gas or liquid propane (LP) fuel supply.
  • A transfer switch is installed for each main electrical panel.
  • When utility power is lost, the transfer switch detects a problem, signaling the generator to turn on automatically. This transfers power from the grid to your generator, powering your home.
  • When utility power is restored, the transfer switch powers down the generator, putting you back on the grid.

All of this happens automatically and without any effort on your part. At W. Danley, rest assured we handle everything from obtaining all permits and inspections, to assisting you through the entire HOA approval process. Once everything is installed and inspected, you are automatically transferred over to our maintenance department to ensure your warranty remains in effect and your equipment remains in good working condition.
